Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Safe AI Academy website at safeaiacademy.com and all related services, including courses, articles, resources, and community features (collectively, the "Services").

By creating an account, purchasing a course, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

Account Terms

• You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use our Services.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at support@safeaiacademy.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• One person or legal entity may maintain no more than one free account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Share, redistribute, or resell course materials, including videos, text, code, and downloadable resources, without explicit written permission.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or download content from our website beyond what is permitted by our robots.txt file.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other user accounts, or data.
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any other malicious code.

• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or our staff.

Intellectual Property

All content on safeaiacademy.com, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, course materials, downloadable resources, and software, is the property of Safe AI Academy or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Purchasing a course grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the course content for your own educational purposes. This license does not include the right to:

• Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display course materials.
• Create derivative works based on our content.
• Use our content for commercial training or consulting purposes without a separate enterprise license.

Course Access and Enrollment

• Free courses are available to all registered users for as long as they remain published on our platform.
• Paid courses grant you lifetime access to the purchased version of the course content, subject to the continued operation of our platform.
• We may update course content from time to time. Enrolled students receive access to updated versions at no additional cost.
• We reserve the right to retire courses with reasonable notice. Enrolled students will retain access for a minimum of 12 months after a retirement announcement.
• Course progress, bookmarks, and completion certificates are tied to your account and are not transferable.

Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise indicated. You agree to pay all fees associated with your purchases.

Limitation of Liability

• Damages arising from security incidents that occur despite application of techniques taught in our courses.
• Service interruptions, errors, or data loss on our platform.
• Actions taken by third parties, including other users of our platform.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to your use of our Services shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Safe AI Academy in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Safe AI Academy and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of our Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email and by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of our Services after changes constitute acceptance of the modified Terms.
